Who Are You? WHat’s Your Operating Number!?
All Halloween in San Francisco is quiet a specitical to behold. I believe it is the city’s favorite holiday, second only to a tie of Christmas and Gay Pride weekend. And since Halloween was on a Monday this year, it just meant a whole weekend of madness. So I did end up having my Halloween party and with the help of Urian and Kirsten’s magical decorating skills, the place looked spooktacualr. Ewwwww…that was a terrible pun. Sorry ’bout that…So for that party I dressed as Alice in Wonderland. It rained that night, but it sure made for a nice atmosphere. The following evening we went to a scary movie viewing at our friend Julie’s house, then Ronnie, Brown and I went to a Star Wars themed benefit party for Katrina Relief. Thus came my second costume…a knock off Padme from Episode II. The mix of drunk and horny college kids combined with super-nerds living out their fantasy was a magical combination. On Sunday, Kirsten and I went to Aaron’s new pad and carved pumpkins.
Then of course Monday at work I had to be something else so I was a school girl. That night we went to the Castro with a big group of friends. It was very very crowded but each year it just seems to loose that magic…and people are dressed up less and less! After that evening, I was ready to call it a good Halloween, and hang up my costumes for another year…or until I get the inkling to dress up again.
