Old Movies in Old Theaters
Really, there is nothing like it. Tonight a group of friends and I will head towards the Castro theater to experience Hitchcock’s Vertigo. One of my favorites. Course I could be biased due to the fact it was filmed in my own stomping grounds. It just feels so classic at the Castro Theater. It gives you the feeling that movies are a performance, not just a loud stadium box to fit as many people in as possible with no character and commercials blaring in your face. Stupid FANTA girls! They even played that commercial before the whale show at six flags on a screen…how depressing. Sorry, that was off the subject. SO! I am looking forward to this classic movie experience. They even have a stage and a classic organ in there! Who-ha!
I didn’t make it to Willy Wonka. I was actually too tired…just like I was afraid of. But I had a really relaxing night of chillin’ with my roommate Kirsten. I mean who says you have to go out on Friday night? There is always Saturday…
